Bulldogs Cruise by Dartmouth 6-1 For Third Straight Ivy Victory

The Bulldogs earned their third straight league victory at home, defeating Dartmouth 6-1 in New Haven to move to 3-2 in the Ivy League. Five of six singles players won their matches, and the Elis won at the No. 2 and 3 doubles spots to grab the doubles point.
All five Yale singles victories came in straight sets. Ryan Murphy defeated David Webb 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 1 spot, and Brandon Wai was a 6-3, 6-2 winner at No. 3 over Drew Dinkmeyer.
At No. 4, Rowan Reynolds blew past Borko Kereshi 6-2, 6-2, and Milosz Gudzowski was a 6-2, 6-4 winner over Andres Reyes.
David Goldman won his first set at No. 6 6-2 and was leading 3-2 in the second when opponent Travis Maiers retired.
Andrew Rosenfeld fell 6-4, 4-6 (10-7) to Neal Bobba at No. 2 for Yale's lone singles loss.
In doubles, Murphy and Reynolds were defeated 8-5 at the No. 1 position by Kereshi and Jesse Paer, but Yale's other two doubles pairs won. Rosenfeld/Goldman defeated Bobba/Dinkmeyer 8-5, while Wai and Chris Lawler bested Webb/Reyes by the same score.
The Elis will try to make their streak four in a row when they travel to Harvard on Sunday.
