Men's Tennis at Farnsworth Invitational

Yale's two doubles teams both advanced at the Farnsworth Invitational at Princeton, while two of Yale's four A Singles players advanced to the third round.

In doubles, the team of Andrew Rosenfeld and Rowan Reynolds -- seeded #4 -- won 8-5 over a team from Columbia. Yale's team of Ryan Murphy and Brandon Wai also won 8-5, defeating a team from St. Joseph's.

In singles, fifth-seeded Ryan Murphy defeated two opponents from Columbia University to advance to the third round. He won 6-4, 7-5 in the first round and 6-2, 6-3 in the second round. Sixth-seeded Andrew Rosenfeld also advanced to the third round, as he won 6-3, 6-3 in the first round and 6-2, 6-3 in the second round. Brandon Wai won his first-round match 6-3, 6-4 but fell 6-1, 6-3 in the second round. Rowan Reynolds fell 7-6 (7-3), 6-0 in the first round.

The tournament continues through Sunday.
