Brandon Wai Advances to ITA Quarterfinals

No. 9 seed Brandon Wai advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Tournament, held in Blacksburg, VA, on the strength of two wins Sunday.

In the Round of 32, Wai bested Ashwin Kumar 6-1, 6-4 to face Eric Thomas in the Round of 16. He easily dispatched Thomas, dropping only three games in the 6-2, 6-1 victory.

Wai will face No. 4 seed Reed Hagmann from Colgate Monday morning.
