Brandon Wai Named First Team All-Ivy In Singles And Doubles

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sophomore Brandon Wai (San Diego, CA), who went 6-1 in Ivy League matches at No. 1 singles, has earned first team All-Ivy honors. Wai also was named first team All-Ivy in doubles with partner Ryan Murphy (Houston, TX). The duo went 4-3 in Ivy matches. Murphy was a second team selection in singles.

Wai is ranked 97th nationally in singles. He finished the spring with a 14-6 overall record. During the fall season, he captured the A-flight titles at the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational and the Yale Invitational. In addition, he reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Northeast Regional.

Murphy was Yale's No. 2 player and had an 8-12 overall record in the spring. In the fall he reached the semifinals of A-flight singles at the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational.
