Yale Finishes Year Ranked No. 7 in the Northeast

New Haven, Conn. - Yale (9-12, 3-4 Ivy) received a ranking of No. 7 in the end of the year Northeast Regional Rankings administered by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Jeff Dawson and Michael Caldwell were ranked No. 19 and No. 23, respectively in the region.

The Bulldogs trailed only Penn State, Harvard, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, and Penn in the end of the year rankings. Yale will return five out of its six singles and doubles starters next season.

Dawson and Caldwell split time between No. 1 and No. 2 singles during the Ivy League season. Both of them posted a 3-4 singles record in the Ivy League. Dawson went a perfect 3-0 at No. 1 singles during the Ivy League season.

Josh Lederman and Calvin Bennett received a doubles ranking of No. 9 after posting a 2-3 record at No. 1 doubles in the Ivy League.
