Bulldogs Dominate at William and Mary
In their first outdoor meet of the year, the Bulldogs dominated the Tribe Invitational at William and Mary. A total of five teams from the area competed at the meet. The Bulldogs swept the relays and grabbed the top spots in multiple events throughout the day. Although the invitational was not scored, the Bulldogs clearly showed that they were the leading team at the meet.

Bulldogs Kick Off Outdoor Season
The Bulldogs are wrapping up their training during spring break and are ready to kick off the outdoor season at the Tribe Invitational this Saturday, hosted by William and Mary. Head coach David Shoehalter said he was pleased with spring training so far.

The Bulldogs finished out the first day of the indoor IC4A Championships with several strong performances, held at Boston University. The meet features athletes from the Division I schools in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions who have qualified for the based on performance standards.

Bulldogs Compete at IC4As This Weekend
The Bulldogs will travel to Boston this weekend for the indoor IC4A Championships. They will compete alongside several athletes from the Division I schools in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions who have qualified for the IC4As based on performance standards. The meet, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday at Boston University, will wrap up the indoor season for the Bulldogs.

Senior Chris Labosky earned first team All-Ivy honors after his win in the 1,000-meter at indoor Heptagonals Championships last weekend. All-Ivy selections were announced on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs placed eighth with 28 points at indoor Heptagonals Championships this weekend, hosted by Dartmouth. They qualified in two more events for IC4As, while several athletes peaked with season bests at the most anticipated of the season.

DePalo and McKenzie Score for Bulldogs at Heptagonals
The Bulldogs finished out the first day of Heptagonal Championship with six points, tied with UPenn and four points behind Dartmouth and Harvard. Although not every event went as planned, several individuals made a number of surprising performances to score points in unexpected places.

Bulldogs Ready to Compete at Indoor Heptagonals
The height of the indoor season arrives this weekend with the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships. The meet will take place on both Saturday and Sunday at Dartmouth's Leverone Fieldhouse. The Bulldogs are looking to build off of last year's fourth place finish. Head coach David Shoehalter is expecting several Bulldogs, particularly the seniors, to play a key role at the meet.

Bulldogs Challenge Themselves at Harvard-Yale-Princeton
The Bulldogs faced tough competition this Saturday against Princeton, last year’s runner-up at indoor Heptagonals, and Harvard at the annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet. Although they placed third this year, the Bulldogs showed depth amidst challenging opponents. As the last regular-season meet of the indoor season, they took the opportunity to get into a competitive mode before heading out to Heptagonals in two weeks. The top four spots scored in each event.

Bulldogs Face Off Against Ivy Rivals Harvard and Princeton
The Bulldogs will compete against Ivy rivals Harvard and Princeton this Saturday in Princeton, N.J. The men have not lost to the Crimson for the past several years and will shoot for another victory. The flat track in Princeton's Jadwin Gymnasium will also be good practice for the same surface at Heptagonals two weeks from now. Head coach David Shoehalter hopes the tri-meet will serve as a mental springboard heading into the post-season.

Day Two of Giegengack Invitational Brings More Season Bests
The Bulldogs closed the Giegengack Invitational with a streak of PRs and top places. Throughout the day, the seniors certainly lived up to their last competition at Coxe Cage. With talented athletes in each event, the Bulldogs look sharp going into the end of their indoor season.

Bulldogs Start Off Strong on Day One of Giegengack Invitational
The Bulldogs opened up the Giegengack Invitational with strong performances in the field events and the 200-meter dash. The distance runners also put on a well-fought race in the distance medley relay. Overall, the first day of the meet was an exciting precursor to Saturday's competition.

Yale Hosts Sixth Annual Giegengack Invitational
The Bulldogs will host one of their biggest home meets this weekend at Coxe Cage with over 15 schools competing, including Georgetown, UConn, Penn and Brown. The Giegengack Invitational is named after the legendary Yale coach Bob Giegengack. Head coach David Shoehalter said that the meet is also important because it gives the Bulldogs the chance to put on some solid performances before they head into Harvard-Princeton and Heptagonals.

Bulldogs Continue to Perform at BU Terrier Invitational
The Bulldogs tacked on more IC4A-qualifying performances at the Boston University Terrier Invitational on Saturday. Although the meet was not scored, they had the chance to compete against a packed field of Northeast schools they will later face in the season.

This weekend, the Bulldogs will compete in the Boston University Terrier Invitational, one of their first large meets of the season. Although the meet is not scored, it gives the chance to compete with many other schools in the Northeast, including Ivy League rivals Brown, Dartmouth and Harvard. The Bulldogs boast talented athletes across the board coming into the meet.

Bulldogs Show Strengths at Ivy Tri-meet
As the season continues to gain momentum, the Bulldogs are showing more of their strength, especially in the middle sprints and distance events. The team competed against fellow Ivy League schools Dartmouth and Columbia in the annual tri-meet on Saturday and placed second with 64.5 points.

Bulldogs to See Ivy League Action
The Bulldogs will face off against fellow Ivy League schools Dartmouth and Columbia in Hanover, N.H., this Saturday. The tri-meet will be the first scored competition of the season. The Bulldogs took home the meet title last year with 86 points and anticipate another win this season.

Yale Well Represented at Home Meet
The Bulldogs returned from their winter recess on Saturday and once again excelled at home. Like their last meet, the Yale Intercollegiate Track Classic was not scored, but the Bulldogs proved their readiness for the indoor season. They hosted 15 teams from around the area, including Connecticut, Quinnipiac, New Haven and Sacred Heart.

The Bulldogs will host the 28th annual Yale Intercollegiate Track Classic at Coxe Cage this Saturday. After taking a five-week hiatus from competition, they look forward to getting back on the track.

Bulldogs Give Solid Performance at Season Opener
The Bulldogs set a strong pace for rest of the indoor season at the Lidlifter Invitational at Coxe Cage on Saturday. Although the meet was not scored, the Bulldogs gave many strong individual performances, including three that qualified for the IC4A Championships to be held in March.

Bulldogs To Host Lidlifter Invitational
The Bulldogs will kick off the indoor season with the annual Lidlifter Invitational at Coxe Cage this Saturday. Although the meet is not scored, associate head coach David Shoehalter said it gives a chance to gauge the athletes' progress since practice began in September.

Bulldogs Ready to Launch 2009-10 Season
Despite the graduation of several talented athletes from last year, the Bulldogs are ready to challenge themselves again this season. After a respectable fourth-place finish at indoor Heptagonals Championships last year, the Bulldogs will continue working on dominating multiple events within their conference. As always, they expect to qualify a number of individuals for NCAA post-season meets; last season, five members advanced to the NCAA East Regional. The first meet of the indoor season, the Lidlifter Invitational, will take place at Coxe Cage on Dec. 5.

The 2009-10 schedule for the men's track and field team has been released. As in previous years, the indoor season kicks off with the Lidlifter Invitational at Yale's Coxe Cage on Dec. 5.
