The Yale men's track and field team placed second at Saturday's H-Y-P meet held in New Haven. Princeton placed first with 80 points, Yale with 55 and Harvard finished third with 35. Yale's next meet will be the Indoor Heps, which will be held in two weeks at Harvard.
Sprinter Brandon Giles was Yale's strongest performer at the meet, winning the 60 meter dash (6.99) and the 200 meter dash (22.09). Giles was the only multiple event winner for the Bulldogs, however, Yale had two other event winners, including Josh Yelsey (1 mile, 4:10.58), Casey Moriarty (3000 meter, 8:17.02).
Yale travels to Harvard in two weeks for the Indoor Heptagonal Championships.
