Elis Take Fifth at Heps

HANOVER, N.H. - Yale scored 66 points to finish in fifth place at the Ivy League Championship this Sunday afternoon at Dartmouth's Leverone Field House.

Yale's sole winner for the day was the distance medley relay team of Jared Bell, Dan O'Brien, Matthew Boshart and Patrick Dantzer. Their time was 9:58.59.

John Langhauser finished the shot put in second place with a throw of 16.06 meters. Another second place finisher was Jihad Beauchman in the high jump with a height of 2.06 meters. Beauchman was also fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 14.70 meters.

Kevin Alexander took second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.43. Victor Cheng was third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.93. O'Brien was fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.16).

The 4x400 (Alexander, Rob deLaski, Beauchman and Shomari Taylor) and 4x800-meter (Connor Kilpatric, Matthew Bordoni, Mark Falco and Brian Gertzen) relay teams both finished third with times of 3:17.78 and 7:36.96.
