Distance Squad Competes At Oxy Distance Carnival

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The distance runners ran their first outdoor meet of the season at Occidental College's Oxy Distance Carnival Friday afternoon. This was a non-scoring meet that had only five events: the 800-meter run, 1,500-meter run, 5K, 10K and 3K steeplechase.
Matthew Boshart won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.83.
Jake Gallagher and Jared Bell placed third and fourth in the 1,500-meter run with times of 3:57.82 and 3:59.88, respectively.
