PRINCETON, N.J. - The Elis traveled to Princeton for the Sam Howell Invitational Saturday afternoon, finishing with two first place performances. Jeffrey Lachman had a strong performance in the discus, winning with a distance of 50.07 meters. He was the only thrower with a mark over 50 meters.

In other field events, John Langhauser was first in the shot put with another NCAA qualifying mark of 17.01 meters, while Samuel Fox was second in the high jump at a height of 2.00 meters. Eric Depalo was fourth in the pole vault (4.60 meters).

The team will compete as one again next weekend at Brown.
