NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Four teams joined together on Friday afternoon in a celebrated event that dates back to 1894. The Yale and Harvard teams dropped their rivalrly to compete against a combined Oxford-Cambridge team in their 42nd meeting since the meet began. In the hotly-contested meet, the British team managed to top the American Universities by a mere one point, winning 10 of 19 events. However, the combined men's and women's teams outscored Oxford and Cambridge, 21 to 17, to win the Naughton Trophy in the team championship.
