Fox Wins High Jump in Eastern Section at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - On the second day of competition at Penn Relays, the Bulldogs had some strong performances despite delays due to lightning to follow up Joseph Kingsbery's effort on the first day. Sam Fox won the eastern section of the high jump, finishing at a height of 2.06 meters.

Competing in the championship section of the shot put, John Langhauser finished in fifth place with a distance of 17.11 meters.

The distance medley relay team of Brian Gertzen, Ted Gallgian, Jared Bell and Jake Gallagher finished third in the college section with a time of 9:56.11. Galligan was also 30th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.94.

In the eastern section of the pole vault, Eric DePalo ended up in seventh place at a height of 4.60 meters.

Jeffrey Lachman and Nate Noll placed ninth and eighteenth in the college division with distances of 47.41 and 44.87 meters.
