Three Bulldogs Earn Second-Team All-Ivy Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Ivy League recently announced the 2009 All-Ivy selections for men's outdoor track and field, which were based on performances at the Heptagonal Championships this past weekend. Three Yale athletes earned second-team All-Ivy recognition for their second-place finishes at the meet. Senior Samuel Fox (Wakefield, R.I.) earned All-Ivy honors in the high jump with his highest-ever Heps finish, after equalling his personal-best of 2.10 meters in the event. Junior Reynolds Holmes (Los Angeles, Calif.) placed second in the long jump for the second year in a row, with a season-best mark of 7.14 meters. Senior Nathan Noll (Avon, Ohio) earned All-Ivy honors for the second year in a row with a personal-best mark of 54.07 meters in the discus throw.
