Men's Cross Country Takes 11th Overall at Iona Meet of Champions

With 279 points, the Bulldogs finished 11th at the Iona Meet of Champions in Bronx, New York. David Napper was Yale's top finisher, coming in 17th with a time of 26:03.7.

Other Eli runners to have good finishes for Yale in the meet included Andrew Pitts, coming in at 26:56.3 for 59th place, and Andrew Johnson, who finished in 62th place with a time of 27:03.3.

Rounding out Yale's top five were captain Robert Dwyer, who recorded a time of 27:14.8, good for 67th place, and Brian Hanak, whose 74th place finish came with his time of 27:23.0.

With three of their runners in the top five, home team Iona took first place in the meet, finishing with 37 team points.
