ORONO, Maine - The Yale men's cross country team finished third Saturday morning at the Murray Keatinge Invitational with a total of 71 points. New Hampshire won the meet with a total of 36 points and Dartmouth was second with 56 points.
The Bulldogs were lead by junior Jake Gallagher, who won the five-mile race in 24:57.20, marking his second victory of the season. Junior John Hinkle was next for Yale, finishing 10th in 25:39.00. Hinkle was followed closely by junior Jared Bell, who finished 13th in 25:44.00. Junior Murat Kayali and freshman Chris Scavone rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs, finishing 21st (26:00.90) and 26th (26:12.60) respectively.
Yale will be back in action next Saturday at the New England Championships in Boston, Mass.
