Mens Cross-Country at NCAA Pre-Nationals

With a time of 24:09.1, Lucas Meyer was Yale's top finisher at the NCAA Pre-Nationals, coming in at 26th place for the Bulldogs.

Yale finished in 24th place in the 35-team event held at the University of Northern Iowa and was the top Ivy finisher.

Casey Moriarty finished in second place for Yale and 86th overall with a time of 24:57, while David Napper ran a 25:04, good for 98th place.

The top three were followed by Josh Yelsey (25:38, 161st place) and captain Robert Dwyer (25:59, 190th place) to complete the scoring of the top five runners. Yale's other two entrants were Patrick Dantzer, who came in at 26:04 in 194th place, and Andrew Johnson in 219th place with a time of 26:37.

The team hopes to qualify for the NCAA Championships, held November 24th.
