Yale Comes in 28th at Pre-Nationals

This weekend, the Yale cross country team ran in the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet. Out of 34 teams, the Bulldogs came in 28th overall. Colorado won the 8000 meter "white" team race with a total of 70 points.

Junior Andrew Pitts finished with an overall time of 25:11. Senior Erik Brown finished 138th and Jake Gallagher, freshman, finished 141th. Other notable Bulldog finishes are freshman Jared Bell (158) junior Brian Gertzen (183rd).

The overall team time was 2:08:16. The team's next meet is the Heptagonal Championship in the Bronx, which takes place in two weeks.
