Yoyo Greenfield Earns JSR First Team All-America Honors

International Publication Recognizes Top Jewish Collegiate Athletes

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sophomore Yoyo Greenfield (Los Angeles, Calif.) of the Yale women's basketball team has earned first team All-America honors from the Jewish Sports Review. The international publication selects annual All-America teams for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball and lacrosse.

Greenfield appeared in all 28 games for the Bulldogs in 2008-09, including 27 starts at the point guard position. She ranked second on the team with 9.7 points per game and rated fourth in the Ivy League with a .791 free throw percentage. For her entire 45-game collegiate career, Greenfield averages 8.6 points per contest.

Matt Aronson '09, the recently graduated 2009 captain of the Yale men's lacrosse team, was previously been honored by the Jewish Sports Review as a 2007 All-American.
