NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Yale University Women's Basketball team will host Harvard Saturday in a battle for second place in the Ivy League standings. The game will tip off at 6 p.m. inside John J. Lee Amphitheater, located inside Payne Whitney Gymnasium.

It is Women's Basketball Employee Day. All Yale University employees are entitled to complimentary admission for two people. Just show your Yale ID as you enter the game. Come and cheer on your Bulldogs as they take on rival Harvard this Saturday on Employee Day. And remember, all children under 12 and seniors over 62 are FREE!

The Bulldogs are aiming for their second consecutive season sweep of the Crimson. The top two teams in the Ivy League receive automatic postseason berths. The Ivy League champion earns a spot in the NCAA Tournament, while the second-place team earns an automatic bid in the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT).

Last season, Yale and Harvard ended the season tied for second place in the Ivy League standings, but Yale earned the automatic WNIT bid due to its season sweep of Harvard.
