Earns Eighth Career Ivy League Weekly Award
PRINCETON, N.J. - Janna Graf was recognized for her contributions in Yale's win at Brown, by being named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week on Monday. Graf, who led the Bulldogs with 16 points against the Bears, shared the award with Cornell's Allyson DiMagno.
Graf helped Yale open Ivy League play with a win by shooting 5-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-5 on three-pointers. She scored 10 of her game-high 16 points after halftime to help the Bulldogs pull away for the 70-53 win. She added six rebounds and tied a personal-best with two blocked shots.
It is Graf's first Player of the Week honor of the season and fourth of her career. She was also a four-time Rookie of the Week winner in 2010-11.
Yale returns to action when hosts Brown on Friday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. in the John J. Lee Amphitheater.
