NEW HAVEN, CONN. -- Freshman guard Jamie Van Horne (Healdsburg, Calif.) has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week. It is the first time this season she has been honored.

Van Horne averaged 13 points over the weekend, including tying a career-high with 17 points at Dartmouth on Saturday. She also tied a career high with three assists in the contest. For the weekend she shot .563 (9-16) from the floor, including .417 (5-12) from beyond the arc. The 17-point effort followed up her nine-point effort at Harvard the previous night.

Yale returns to action on Friday, Feb. 3 when they entertain Princeton. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
