TONIGHT'S GAME
The Bulldogs return home after dropping two straight to Princeton and Penn last weekend. Yale is 10-10 overall and 3-3 in Ivy League play. Columbia is 4-16 overall and 0-6 in the Ivy League. The Lions have lost nine out of 10, with the only win coming in a non-conference game at Lafayette. Cornell was swept by Dartmouth and Harvard last weekend for its first two Ivy League losses. Cornell enters the weekend with an 8-11 mark, 4-2 in Ivy action. There will be a free online video stream of Saturday night's contest on yalebulldogs.com. Saturday is also Youth Day. There will be a free autograph session following the game.

SERIES HISTORY
Yale has played fewer games against Columbia than any other Ivy opponent. This is the 45th all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and Lions. Yale leads the series 34-10, but has lost the last four. The Bulldogs' last win was a 56-50 victory at the John J. Lee Amphitheater on March 6, 2004. Columbia posted a 59-57 victory in New Haven last year.
Yale leads the all-time series with Cornell 38-17. The teams split last season, with the Big Red notching a 79-68 win in Ithaca on Feb. 11 and the Bulldogs posting a 64-57 victory in New Haven on Feb. 24. The Big Red's victory snapped a three-game Yale winning streak in the series. Yale has won its last three home games against Cornell.

LAST TIME OUT
Despite two 20-point efforts by Erica Davis, the Bulldogs were swept by Princeton and Penn last weekend. In the 83-73 loss to the Tigers on Friday night, Princeton got to the free throw line 37 times and outscored the Bulldogs 30-12 from the charity stripe. Davis had 25 points and a career-high 18 rebounds in the game. A Melissa Colborne jumper made the score 32-32 with 29 seconds left in the half, but a free throw followed by a steal and layup gave Princeton a 35-32 halftime lead. Yale was forced to play catch-up the entire second half and wasn't able to get any closer than four. Davis notched 21 points at Penn on Saturday night, but it wasn't enough in the 70-57 Quaker victory. Yale lost Chinenye Okafor to a broken toe three minutes in, but the Bulldogs held tough and trailed by just three, 33-30 at halftime. Penn went on an 8-0 run to start the second half and comfortably pulled away from there.

BULLDOG BYTES
Yale enters the weekend on its first losing streak since Dec. 7-12. The Bulldogs haven't lost three straight since the first three games of the season. Yale leads the Ivy League in rebounding (39.0 rpg), and the Bulldogs lead six individual statistical categories. Senior center Erica Davis leads the conference in rebounding (9.4), defensive rebounds (5.4), field goal percentage (.517) and blocks (2.1). Davis also leads the team with 16.0 points per game. Junior guard Stephanie Marciano has the best assist/turnover ratio in the League (1.48) and is second in assists (4.3 apg). LIONS DEN
The Lions have lost 23 of their last 26 Ivy League contests, with the only three victories coming over the Bulldogs. Columbia is 0-6 in conference play this season. The Lions rank near the bottom in almost all statistical categories. Columbia averages 56.4 points per game, and senior guard Megan Griffith averages 13.5. Griffith also leads the team in assists (3.8) and steals (1.9). Freshman forward/center Chelsea Frazier leads the team with 5.8 rebounds a contest.
