Bulldogs Compete at Princeton Chase
Looking to Build on Momentum from Past Weeks
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's crew team will wrap up its fall season on Sunday when it heads to Princeton, N.J. for the Oct. 30 Princeton Chase.
When the Bulldogs take to the waters on Lake Carnegie, they will look to build on strong performances in recent weeks, including several top-five finishes at last weekend's Head of the Charles regatta in Cambridge, Mass.
The three-mile race is hosted by Princeton. Yale's eight is scheduled to compete at 11 a.m., while the four will compete at 3 p.m. On the Charles, the championship eight notched up a powerful fourth-place finish and the championship four slotted in sixth.
Sunday's racing completes the team's fall season, which began with the Oct. 8 Head of the Housatonic. The Bulldogs will go through a period of intense training over the winter, before kicking off the competitive spring season with the Mar. 24 Connell Cup against Cornell and Penn in New York, N.Y.
