Before Yale: Won a silver medal with the United States' women's eight at the 2010 World Rowing Junior Championships… Featured in Faces In The Crowd in Sports Illustrated… Won the women's youth single scull event at the U.S. Rowing Youth National Championships in summer of 2010… Part of the eight that won its event at the Independence Day Regatta in Philadelphia… Part of the USA Junior National High Performance team in Berlin, Germany in 2009… Placed ninth at 2009 Crash-B’s.

Personal: Was a figure skater for nine years before discovering rowing in high school.
