The Bulldogs won every event they entered as the New Haven Rowing Club hosted the annual Head of the Housatonic regatta in Derby, CT.
In the Open Eight event, Yale finished first in 14:29, easily beating out second-place Northwestern, who came in at 14:57. The Elis also earned first in the Open Four with a time of 16:54.
In the Open Pair, two Eli boats earned first and second, with the A boat narrowly edging the B boat by a second. The first place time was 18:26.
The Elis also won the Novice Eight. On the varsity level, nearly every athlete was able to row in two events.
The regatta provided good practice for the Elis as they prepare to compete in the Head of the Charles in two weekends in Cambridge, MA.
