NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's fencing team is prepping for a big meet against Sacred Heart and Drew University on Saturday, Jan. 29. The Bulldogs will host the Triangular meet in the seventh floor fencing salon in the Payne Whitney Gymnasium.

Yale hosted both teams last year and emerged from the meet with two victories. The Bulldogs defeated Sacred Heart by a final score of 16-11. The epee squad performed exceptionally well in the dual-meet, finishing up with a 9-2 record. Against Drew, the Elis secured an emphatic 21-6 victory, which included a perfect 9-0 record from the foil squad.

The Bulldogs will look to take advantage of the home crowd's energy and support in order to repeat last year's performance. Two victories on Saturday would push Yale back above .500 as they head into the home stretch before the Ivy Championships.
