Princeton Hosts Ivy League Fencing Championships

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's fencing team travels to Princeton this weekend to compete in the Ivy League Championships. The Bulldogs will face six schools in the two days of competition, fencing Princeton, Brown and Harvard on Saturday and Penn, Columbia and Cornell on Sunday.

After placing sixth two years in a row, the team is aiming for a better result. Captain Ilana Kamber is hopeful that such a goal can be achieved: "We've been working really hard at practice the past few weeks. I'm confident that everyone's fencing at Ivies will reflect this and I'm excited to see how we do!"

The fencing will begin on both Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. and can be watched via live-stream on the Ivy League Network.
