Bulldogs Take Two At Vassar
Feb. 3, 2007
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale won dual meets against Vassar and Marist Saturday. The two victories raise the team's overall record to 10-4. The Bulldogs took care of Vassar, 18-9. They then beat Marist, 27-0. The perfect score marks the first time in over three seasons that a Yale team has performed such a feat.
Against the host Brewers, the Bulldogs won the foil and sabre by identical 8-1 tallies. The epee squad fell, however, by a score of 7-2.
Yale will attempt to better last year's 12-6 dual meet record with a strong performance at next weekend's Ivy South Competition in Philadelphia, Pa.
