Feb. 13, 2005

The Yale women's fencing team won all three events in their meet against Rutgers Sunday afternoon to give the Bulldogs a 21-6 victory.

In the saber, Shannon Murtagh won all three matches, while Erin Frey and Carly Guss each won two to give Yale a 7-2 victory.

The Bulldogs' strongest event was the foil, where Diana Schawlowski and Alisa Mendelsohn each won all three matches to lead Yale to a 8-1 victory.

Erica Korb won all three of her epee matches in Yale's 6-3 win of that event.

The meet ended Yale's regular season. The Bulldogs' next meet will be next week at the Junior Olympics.
