Yale Fencers Defeat Cornell 18-9

With Justine Aw, Isadora Botwinick and Alisa Mendelsohn each winning all three of their bouts, the Yale fencing team defeated Cornell 18-9 on the strength of a 9-0 sweep in foil.

The breakdown by weapons saw the Elis winning sabre 5-4 but losing epee by the same score. The 9-0 victory in foil propelled them to the win.

The Bulldogs return to action on January 21st when they travel to Brandeis.
