Birth Date: 12/13/1985
Height: 5-9
Year: Sophomore
Hometown: Vancouver, BC
High School: Crofton House
Position: F/M

Bissett was limited to four games by an injury last season but looks to return to form this year. She made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning honorable mention All-Ivy recognition and a place on the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad. She tied for fourth on the team in goals with five. Before Yale she led Crofton House School to the league championship in each of her last three years, and in her final season the squad finished first in the AA Provincials. In addition to co-captaining Crofton House, she was a member of the Canadian U-21 National Team along with being co-captain of the British Columbia Under-18 team and the BC Under-18 touring squad that traveled to Ireland. Bissett spent the summer of 2004 touring with the Canadian Junior National Squad. Her father David was a member of the Canadian National Team, participating in the Olympics in 1976 and 1984 (captain). Her brother Russell has participated in Team Canada's Futures Program. Coach Stuper: "Trish's potential has not even been tapped. After suffering from two concussions in the last two seasons, our opponents have yet to face her. She is one of the few forwards in the country that know how to cleanly eliminate her opponent on a 1v1. No question, her international experience brings a higher level to our game."
