McCauley Earns Honor from womensfieldhockey.com

Senior Forward Beat Harvard with Hat Trick

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - After leading Yale to a 4-3 win over archrival Harvard with a hat trick Saturday, senior forward Ashley McCauley (Rye, N.Y.) has been selected to womensfieldhockey.com's national weekly honor roll.

McCauley had seven shots on goal in Yale's two wins over the weekend, and the Bulldogs are now off to their best start since 1998. The three-goal outburst Saturday moved McCauley into a tie for second on Yale's all-time goals list with 36. She and Lindsay Hobbs '99 trail only Emily Montgomery '78 (46). McCauley is also fourth on Yale's career points list with 81, trailing the all-time leader (Montgomery) by 17.

Yale visits  No. 7 Princeton and Hofstra this weekend.
