Coach Stuper: "'E' epitomizes the Yale student-athlete, as she is exceptional in the classroom as well as on the field. E's technical side of the game is her greatest strength. Her experience as a senior goalkeeper will add to our already stingy defense."

She had a season-high 17 saves at William and Mary, and made 15 while allowing just two goals against Northwestern. Friedlander made the NFHCA Division I National Academic Team and is a two-time honoree.
2004: Friedlander made her varsity debut, appearing in six games (five starts) and posting a 2.50 GAA and .696 save percentage. She also was named to the NFHCA's All-Academic squad. She earned a spot in U.S. Field Hockey Olympic Development A-Camp and was picked to train at USA Field Hockey's Elite Performance Training Center.
2003: Friedlander served as a backup to Krissy Nesburg '04, U-21 National Team goalie.
