Howell followed up a breakout sophmore campaign with another solid season last year. One of her three goals came in a 3-2 come-from-behind win against Cornell. Both of her goals as a sophmore were game-winners, including one in overtime again Brown. She spent this past summer playing for the Philadelphia Fury and ran her first triathalon. In the summers of 2001 and 2002 she attended the Champion's Edge Camp, earning a selection to the all-star team in 2001. At Hammonton High School, she was a three-time all-state and all-league selection. With 71 goals, she holds the career goals record. Howell participated in the Garden State Games and from 1997 and 1999 took part in the USFHA Futures Program. She is in the teacher prep program at Yale.
