Cory Pelletier, a former Academic All-Ivy player at Brown, joined the Yale staff as volunteer assistant coach in 2005. Pelletier is working towards a Ph.D. in biological and biomedical sciences at Yale. Pelletier graduated from Brown in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in biology. She played four years of field hockey for the Bears, earning team rookie of the year honors in 1999-2000 while helping Brown to an Ivy League title. Pelletier was team captain in 2001-2002 and earned Academic All-Ivy recognition in 2002. She also was named to the NFHCA's National Academic Squad that year.
