Yale Newcomer Sinks Hole-In-One
Park Impresses At US Women's Open
OAKMONT, Pa. -
Sun Park (Vail, Ariz.), who joins the
Yale Women's Golf Team as a freshman this fall, made her first
career hole-in-one on the 141-yard, par-3 sixth hole at
the 2010 U.S.Women's Open Golf Championship
last Friday.
Park, who had a bogey on the same hole the previous day, used an eight-iron to record the 21st hole-in-one in U.S. Women's Open history and the first since 2008.
The South Korean golfer shot rounds of 80 and 79 at the Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania last weekend before missing the cut.
