Moon Shines at Harvard Invitational

Cambridge, Mass. -  After the first day at the Harvard Invitational, See Heo Moon and the Yale women's golf team find themselves in a familiar position: the top of the leaderboard. Moon's opening round 74 has her leading all players, while she and her teammates trail only the host Crimson for the team lead - and that deficit is a very surmountable three strokes heading into Sunday's round.

One of Moon's main challengers for the individual title will be senior Harriet Owers-Bradley, who is just one stroke off Moon's pace after an opening round 75. Sun Gyoung Park also opened up strong, matching Owers-Bradley's round with a 75 of her own. Yale's dominance of the top twenty continued with captain Alyssa Roland, who sits tied for ninth after posting an opening-round 77. Fellow Bulldogs Cassie Boles and Alex Lipa are tied for 16th, having shot identical rounds of 80 in their first eighteen holes.

Yale will try to hunt down their Ancient Eight foes in tomorrow's closing rounds in Cambridge.
