Bulldogs Leading the Way at Ivy Championships

NORTHFIELD, N.J. - After 18 holes at the Atlantic City Country Club, the Yale women's golf team holds a three-stroke lead over second-place Harvard. Three Bulldogs, See Heo Moon(+4), captain Alyssa Roland (+5), and senior Harriet Owers-Bradley (+5) finished in the top five after the first day of competition.

Sophomore Joy Kim (80) and freshman Sun Gyoung Park (82) rounded out Yale's scorers, both finishing in the top 20 individuals (16th and 19th overall). They will need to continue their strong play tomorrow when the Bulldogs tee off with the rest of the Ancient Eight field beginning at 12:30 pm. Harvard and Penn (four strokes behind) are hot on Yale's tail in the overall standings, and Moon sits four behind the overall individual leader, Columbia freshman Michelle Piyapattra.
