It's been a busy week for the Yale women's golf team. The Bulldogs wrapped up play in Greensboro, N.C. at the East Carolina Invitational Tuesday, flew home for a midterm exam or two, and hit the road Friday morning for their final event of the fall season, the Harvard Invitational. The Crimson will host the two-day tournament at Boston Golf Club in Hingham, Mass.
Yale finished seventh in Greensboro, riding a strong final-round showing up and down the lineup to move from 14th, where they started the day, to the top ten. Sophomore Seo Hee Moon matched her team's finish in the individual standings, taking seventh place and firing the Bulldogs' low round of the weekend with a second-round 69 (-3). Sophomore Sun Gyoung Park (28th) and junior Alex Lipa (38th) also played well for Yale, who also posted a top ten finish at the Nittany Lion Invitational - tying with Harvard - two weeks ago.
The Crimson are led by standout freshman Tiffany Lim, who, in the opening chapter of what is shaping up to be quite the rivalry, tied with Moon for the individual title at the Yale Invitational; Moon ultimately took home the title via a victory in playoff holes. Lim gets a chance for revenge this weekend as both teams close out their fall schedules before heading into the offseason.
