The tournament consists of 16 highly competitive teams, Yale being the only representative from the Ivy League. SDSU's March Mayhem at The Farms runs bracket-style, with only the winning teams moving on to the next round, for a total of four rounds.
Junior Jennifer Peng hopes to continue the phenomenal season she had in the fall during this spring season. Freshman Felicia Cheng is looking to make a splash as she makes her second appearance in spring competition. With a good fall season behind her, she hopes to continue to work on her consistency to help the Bulldogs secure a top spot in the tournament. As Captain Sandy Wongwaiwate continues her final season competing as a Bulldog, she remains a consistently strong player and leader for her team on and off the course.
The Yale team will look to build on its earlier performance at the Southern Utah Invitational and set the tone for the rest of their spring season. The Bulldogs will have their work cut out for them as they enter the tournament ranked 16th. Their first round will be against the number one seeded team and last year's champions, USC.
Golfers will tee off Monday starting at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
