Crystal River, Fla. - The Yale women's golf team began its spring season today in Crystal River, Florida with 18 holes at the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational. After the first day, the Bulldogs shot 326 and are tied for sixth place.

Middle Tennessee State shot 309 and currently leads the field. Ivy rival Princeton is in second place with 310.

Ellie Brophy had the best day for the Bulldogs. Her score of 80 (37-43) has her tied for 20th going into the second day.

Lindsay Hong and Taylor Lee both shot 81 and are tied for 24th.

Captain Cindy Shin (84, 40th) and Natasha Spackey (86, T43rd) also competed in Yale's top 5.

Erica Im (81, T24th), Ashley Young (90, T49th) and Marion Stanley (96, 53rd) are competing in the field as individuals.
