The women's golf team shot a three-round cumulative score of 946 to take 10th place at the Bonnie Hoover Invitational, hosted by James Madison University. Sophomore January Romero finished tenth overall with an 11-over par score of 227 through three rounds.
Romero shot a one-over 73 on the first round, then added scores of 77 and 77 to tie her for 10th place with Georgetown's Connie Isler. Cindy Shin recorded Yale's next-best performance, tying for 23rd overall with a score of 233.
The Elis travel to the Trenton Country Club next weekend to compete in the Ivies, where they will look to defend their title from last year. Yale's top competition will be Princeton, who finished second to them last year.
