Princeton, N.J. - After the first round of play at the Princeton Invitational, the Yale women's golf team is tied for third place, 14 strokes behind Princeton, who is leading the field.

Freshman Harriet Owers-Bradley, playing in her first collegiate tournament, was the leading scorer for the Bulldogs on the first day. She is currently tied for fourth place with 76.

Senior captain Ellie Brophy and Nataska Spackey both shot 79 and are tied for 13th. Lindsay Hong (T26, 81) and Taylor Lee (T32, 83) rounded out Yale's top five.

The tournament is being played at the Springdale Golf Course. The second and final round begins tomorrow morning starting at 8:00 am.
