After 18 holes of play, the Yale women's golf team stands first at the Yale Women's Invitational Golf Tournament, hosted by the Bulldogs at The Course at Yale. Ellie Brophy leads the Elis and is tied for second overall after shooting a 9-over-par 79.
Following Brophy in Yale's lineup is January Romero, who shot an 80 to tie for fifth place overall. Cindy Shin finished with an 82, while Lauren Ressler shot an 83, good for 18th place. Lindsay Hong rounded out Yale's golfers with an 84.
The competitors will continue play tomorrow at the par-70 course, with the Elis hoping to maintain their first-place standing.
