Oct. 26, 2003

With 342 team points, the Elis trailed only host Harvard in Cape Cod at the Harvard Invitational. The Crimson finished with 339 points after the first day of play. Lauren Ressler shot an 80 to lead all Eli players.

Although three teams were unable to finish play due to darkness, the Bulldog lineup completed their 18-hole round in time. Following Ressler on the scoreboard was Cindy Shin, who shot an 85, and Jessica Shapiro, who finished with an 86.

January Romero and Carmen Zimmer each shot a 91 on the day.

The tournament will continue today on Cape Cod, where the Elis hope to overcome their three-point deficit to first-place Harvard.
