NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Bulldogs took home a pair of All-Ivy honors after this past weekend's Ivy League Championship. Sophomore Harriet Owers-Bradley and sophomore Cassie Boles each took home the award. It was both players' first time receiving the award.
The Ivy League awards its All-Ivy honors based solely on performance in the Ivy League Championship. The top finishers each year are awarded the honor (the number varies based on ties for the top places).
Owers-Bradley and Boles both had their best finishes of the year at the Ivy League Championships. Owers-Bradley shot rounds of 78, 76 and 70 to finish in second place. Her round of 70 was the lowest she has shot all year. Before that it had been a 73 at the Winthrop Intercollegiate where she finished in a tie for third. She also had a tie for seventh at the ROAR-EE Invitational and a tie for ninth at the Yale Intercollegiate in the fall.
Boles also had a great Ivy League Championships. She shot rounds of 76, 77 and 73 to finish in a tie for fourth. She matched her best round and best finish at the Ivies. In the fall, Boles took fourth at the Ross Resorts Invitational where she also shot a 73.
