In her junior year, Seltzer had the best season of her life as an essential member of the vault and floor line-ups. She consistently landed her vaults and shone on floor, netting her numerous honors including ECAC Specialist of the Year. She set personal bests on both events, including the second highest vault score in Yale history with a 9.775 at Penn State. Seltzer won floor at the Ivy Classic, and placed 3rd on vault and 4th on floor at the ECAC Championships. After qualifying for the NCAA Regionals, her 9.725 on vault placed in the top ten and her 9.65 on the floor placed in the top fifteen. Seltzer was an integral member of the 2005 Bulldog team, consistently earning high marks on vault and floor. She competed in all of the season's meets, with standout performances against Southern Connecticut and MIT, and at the Ivy Classic. At these meets, she had the highest Yale vault score, including her season best of 9.6 at the Ivy Classic, contributing to Yale's 2005 Ivy Classic title. During her rookie season, Seltzer proved essential to the team in the first meet of her collegiate career, placing first in the all-around and vault at Springfield. After recovering from an injury, she came back strong towards the end of the season to compete on vault and floor, putting up scores of 9.75 and 9.725. Seltzer immediately showed that she brings great power and energy to the Bulldogs. Seltzer joined the Bulldogs from Chantilly Academy Gymnastics. In 2000, she placed eighth in the all-around at the Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals, and was an alternate in 2002. At the Virginia State Championships, she won floor and vault, and was a contributor to her team's winning title. Seltzer is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
