De Jocas joined the Bulldogs from Futures Gymnastics. At the National Open level, she placed 2nd on vault, 3rd on floor, and 5th in the all-around at the Eastern Canadian Championships in 2006. In 2007, at the same competition, she placed 3rd on beam and 2nd on vault and in the all-around, and qualified to the Elite Canada Championships. De Jocas graduated from Lorne Park Secondary School.
