Stephanie Goldstein played a huge role in the Bulldogs’ success during her freshman year, competing in the all-around at every competition. She was one of Yale’s most consistent gymnasts in 2010, especially on the floor exercise, scoring below a 9.400 only once. She finished in the top three in the all-around competition twice during her first year, in the Springfield dual and at Springfield’s tri-meet.
Before coming to Yale, Goldstein earned a pair of individual silver medals (vault and bars) and an individual bronze medal (all-around) as a part of the United States team that won the gold medal at the 2007 Pan American Maccabi Games in Buenos Aires. She is currently majoring in molecular, cellular and developmental biology.
Why Yale?: "I love all of the things that Yale has to offer: amazing academics, a close-knit and talented gymnastics team, a diverse and passionate student body and so many opportunities for learning and growth in all areas of my life.”
