2012: Competed on vault, bars and floor exercise for the Bulldogs ... Scored a 9.525 with her front handspring front tuck vault at a dual meet against Penn and at a tri-meet with Towson and William & Mary ... Scored a season-best 9.525 on bars against Penn.
High School: Had a successful level ten season in 2011 after coming back from several minor injuries … Had her highest all-around score of her level ten career at the state meet where she placed seventh and qualified for the regional championships … As a level ten in 2010 was third in the state on bars and qualified for regionals … Was named the 2009 Gymnast of the Year at her gym… Qualified to Western Nationals in 2009 and placed fifth on vault and bars … Trained at California Sports Center, where she was coached by Brian Loomis.
Personal: Favorite skill is a piked Jaeger on the uneven bars … Enjoys math, science and creative writing and plans to major in engineering or a science at Yale … Why Yale? “ I like how well-rounded a Yale education is. I may be studying science, but I also get the chance to learn so many other subjects. Also, Yale is a smaller school so there are much more opportunities for each student as far as outside research or summer internships go.”
